Hello Kay County Republicans!
It’s county fair time!!! We will have a booth on the south end of the fair in Blackwell Tuesday through Saturday. Make sure to stop by and say “Hi!” and check out all that we have going on. Or, if you are available to come hang out with us for an evening, we would really appreciate your help. In celebration of the 250th anniversary of our Independence, we are going to have a copy of the Declaration for YOU sign. You will be able to join the founders in supporting the Declaration of Independence by adding your “John Hancock” to “mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” There will also be sample ballots, a few yard signs, other election information, and a few surprises!
We will also be kicking off our main fall fundraiser at the fair. This year we will have a drawing for the winners choice of either: an outfitted Ruger American Gen 2 Bolt action rifle in 6mm ARC, or a Marlin 1894 Lever Action in .357 Sig. We are capping the number of tickets at 250 with an additional 50 for the day of the Ponca City Veteran’s Day Parade. We will take a $10 donation for one ticket, $25 for three tickets, or the best deal of fifteen tickets for a $100 donation. As always, we will draw the winner at the park following the Ponca City Veteran’s Day Parade. If you want tickets, we will have them at the fair booth, at our next few meetings, or if those won’t work for you, feel free to contact us to make other arrangements.
This last week we marked two sobering anniversaries back to back: one year since Charlie Kirk was shot, and 25 years since 9-11. They are both reminders that our life is temporary and real evil exists in this world. What are you doing to spread truth and light? Will you pick up the microphone? We have to remember that politics can’t solve all the problems, but bad policies will certainly make them worse. We have a responsibility to defend Liberty, and not let it be diminished on our watch. This article by Seth Keshel is a good reminder and well worth reading. (Substack link)
Saturday of next week, September 26th, will be the Rebuilding Liberty – Oklahoma Constitution Conference in Edmond. This is being organized by our Oklahoma Patriot Academy Constitution Coaches – Jason and Devona Hardaway who came up and spoke here last year. They will have Pastor Dan Fisher giving his Black Robed Regiment presentation that I got to see on the 4th of July about the role of the pastors in the fight for Independence. I highly recommend the presentation and it is super cool to see and hold several of the actual firearms that were used in our Revolutionary War. Other speakers include Bishop E.W. Jackson, and Mike Noriega. Registration is: Here. I hope to see you there!

As a heads up, next week will be our monthly meeting on Thursday, September 24th. We are working to get a speaker with information on the judges and state questions that will be on our midterm ballot, but we will announce more details on that later.
We look forward to seeing you at the fair booth this week, or at one of our other events in the next couple of weeks!
For Freedom,
Nathan Voelkers
Vice Chairman
