Hello Kay County Republicans!
It was good to see many of you at the fair last week. A HUGE “Thank You!” goes to each of you who helped with the booth. It would not have worked as well without everybody’s help.
This Thursday, September 24th, will be our monthly meeting at 7pm at Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City. Our guest speaker will be Austin Harkey from the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs – a conservative thinktank focusing on Oklahoma issues. He will be discussing the records of the State Judges who are up for retention as well as the State Questions on the November ballot. There will also be a preview of what they hope to work on during the next legislative session.
We will still have some candidate signs from the fair booth last week, so if you need a Mike Mazzei for Governor or a Kevin West for Labor Commissioner sign, be sure to come get yours.
We also kicked off our main fall fundraiser at the fair. This year we will have a drawing for the winner’s choice of either: an outfitted Ruger American Gen 2 Bolt action rifle in 6mm ARC, or a Marlin 1894 Lever Action in .357 Mag. We are capping the number of tickets at 250 with an additional 50 for the day of the Ponca City Veteran’s Day Parade. We will take a $10 donation for one ticket, $25 for three tickets, or the best deal of fifteen tickets for a $100 donation. As always, we will draw the winner at the park following the Ponca City Veteran’s Day Parade. If you want tickets, we will have them at our next two meetings, at the park prior to the drawing, or if those options won’t work for you, feel free to contact us to make other arrangements.
This Saturday, will be the Rebuilding Liberty – Oklahoma Constitution Conference in Edmond. This is being organized by our Oklahoma Patriot Academy Constitution Coaches – Jason and Devona Hardaway who came up and spoke here last year. I have been to their conferences the last two years, and they have been well worth attending. This year they will have Pastor Dan Fisher giving his Black Robed Regiment presentation that I got to see this 4th of July about the role of the pastors in our fight for Independence. It is clear that we need a new generation of pastors to take up the black robe (figuratively) and teach and lead in our day to maintain FREEDOM. I highly recommend the presentation and it is super cool to see and hold several of the actual firearms that were used in our Revolutionary War. Other speakers include Bishop E.W. Jackson (heard on American Family Radio), and Mike Noriega. Registration is: Here. I hope to see you there!
Finally, next week the State Republican Party is holding a fundraiser Sporting Clays shoot and dinner on October 3rd in Kingfisher, OK. If you’re not a clay shooter, you can still go for just the dinner. Click here for tickets and more information on that event.
Join us, and get informed and equipped as We the People work to take back our State and our Republic. We must hold the line and advance FREEDOM in the upcoming midterms from the top to the end of the ballot! I hope to see you at both meetings this week!
