Our February meeting will be this Thursday, February 26th at 7pm at Pioneer Tech in Ponca City. Our guest speaker will be Jake Merrick, one of the Republican candidates for governor. This will be a great opportunity to meet him, hear his heart for Oklahoma and ask him your questions. As far as I know, our meeting should be back in our regular room – with enough space and without the long walk down the hall. If you came to our meeting last month, you know what I’m referring to. Our state legislature is currently in session and there is a new website that has been created to promote transparency with what is going on at the Capitol. Several Oklahoma liberty groups worked together to create oklahoma.statelens.org. It is a more streamlined and user friendly website to track bills and how your legislators are voting. If you would like to help with the effort by watching a committee and reporting their actions, let me know and we will get you in touch with one of the organizers.
Recently the Ponca City Schools paid almost $100k for the OSSBA to develop a new strategic plan for the district. It will be used in planning how to spend the money from the next school bond that they will (whether they need it or not) campaign for as the current bond gets paid off. Join us, and get informed and equipped as We the People work to take back our State and our Republic. While we have been granted a reprieve nationally, we must make good use of it!
